Chloridric acid 23% allows to pickle and descale metals, in diluted use it can be used for other applications.
Application
In diluted use, it easily cleans cement laitances, limescale, scale and traces of rust on tiles, terracotta and ceramics. Hydrochloric acid 23% can also be used to strip and renovate exterior stones (except limestone) as well as oxidized brass. It descales and unclogs pipes and toilets not connected to a septic tank. Finally it can also be used to correct the too high pH of pool water.
How to use
To strip and renovate metals, external stones (except limestone), clean traces of rust, limescale, cement laitances, etc. on tiles, terracotta, ceramics: dilute 1 volume of hydrochloric acid 23% in 4 volumes of water. Apply, leave for 5 minutes and rinse with water. Repeat if necessary.
To unclog and descale pipes and toilets: use pure, leave on for at least 30 minutes before rinsing. Never pour on caustic soda, lye or bleach. Septic tanks are prohibited. To lower the pH of the pool water: pour into the skimmers 100 mL of hydrochloric acid 23% per 10 m3 of water to decrease the pH of your water by 0.1 units (dosage given as an indication that in no case replaces a dosage of water, each pool water having its own characteristics influencing the dosage).
